whoa, whoa, whoa ... is all I can say. There are so many cool things I don't think I can pick just one favorite. Have you seen the new Heidi Swapp goodies? To die for :) You can see them HERE. Bella Blvd has won me over again, loving the little flags! Dear Lizzy for American Crafts Neopolitan is so cute, those jars, loving the stamp set! They also came out with these cool markers, called chromatics, below is an example that I found using them, not sure who made it, but it came out really neat and I totally want to try these out, they retail for $4! Omg and Pebbles has done it again, I really love there collections! Some must haves are Let Freedom Ring and Country Picnic.

Trends for cha .... I'm seeing lots of flags (love them), tiny letter (another love), the color pink (you can't go wrong there) :) Thats all im posting for now, I gotta hit the hay!

I love it over at My Sketch World ... on the forum is a Tips & Techniques, were we all post ideas and things to inspire us. I came upon this great blog post from the forum, a discovery of a great company and there cool products, The Twinery. Check out the blog post to see why you a need a fork in your scrapbook room now!

Remember that Orlando Trip layout I made, well I had the scraps sitting on the side of my desk and thought why not make some cards!! So here they are and got some inspiration from The Twinery for the pom poms. Enjoy! Happy Art Making xo

Time with the Girls

I made this last month and I'm not sure why it didn't get posted, but here it is yay! :) this layout was really tough at first, having such non girly photos and of course the range colors never mesh well so printing them in black n white leaves more room for play with the paper. I picked this paper cause I liked the soft tones in it. This layout was really fun to make, plus I got to go through my treasure box (a draw with lots of random goodies!) and put lots of fun stuff on the page. I used the December Sketch from My Sketch World, go check it out and be inspired!

Well of course this page has my favorite cardstock, PRISM! The patterned paper and large journaling cards are from Fancy Pants. The tags, little green journal ticket, silver metal strip, paper clip and the ceramic white little flowers are from Making Memories (Travel). The white puffy wings are actually from a Hello Kitty wallet, they fell off and they were too cute to just throw away so I put them treasure box for a special day to put them on a project. The large scallop was die cutted with this Die from Quickutz/Lifestyle Crafts. The twine was so much fun, I glued down to the edges of the insider large pieces of paper. A simple technique that adds some exciting texture! Enjoy xo -Kat

I know I've been MIA, but I'm excited for the new year and its starting out great :) I had a super duper vacation and ready for work and school to start up again, sorta (:

Here is one of recent creations, I used the January Sketch from My Sketch World. I have to say this sketch rocks, I am definitely going to use it again!!!!!

The patterned background paper is from Die Cut with a View, the colors were perfect and I had lots of other goodies in my pet draw that matched so I was excited to be using my goodies :) I think we all know who the cardstock is from, my favorite PRISM! The solid rick rack and twill ribbon is just from my ribbon jars, the paw print ribbon is from Boxer (I just went to there website and saw they are closing so sad, they had some awesome goodies!) The chipboard sticker is from Bazzill an the chipboard icons are from Ki Memories. This layout was super fun to make and hope you can use it to inspire you :)

Hello everyone, I know Ive been MIA alot but with 4 classes and working 6-7 days a week plus double shifts, I'm still trying to figure out a way to scrappy and play in the art room. Hopefully next year it will be more smooth and there will be more alocated time for me to post hehe :) I have been playing in my art room some, so I'll be posting some goodies this week. I'm running on no sleep since Saturday so I'm about to hit the hay. nighty :)

Kathy's Christmas Wish

As many of you know, last Christmas instead of asking for presents I took donations for the troops, it was a great success and thank you everyone for pitching in and helping the troops. This year I decided to do something very similar. You all know I'm a big animal lover so I thought I would combine my passions and help both the animals and the troops. I will be collecting donations for the Puppy Rescue Mission. They help soldiers that are serving overseas and that find a loving companion while there, bring that dog or cat to be in a forever home with there soldier. My Christmas Wish is to raise $500 or more for the Puppy Rescue Mission, so they can continue all the wonderful things that they do. If you planned on purchasing me a gift, please use that money to contribute to help me reach my goal and make my Christmas Wish come true! Every little bit counts, so I ask that one day you skip the coffee or go to spare change jar and make a donation.

November Sketch

As soon as I saw this sketch, I feel in love with it. I am excited to say I am coming up to the end of scrapbooking the year 2008, can you believe it? So go check out the sketch and see if it can help get your creative juices flowing (it sure did for me)!!! They rock over at My Sketch World :)

This layout is of my little fluffy cupcake, she passed away last year and its still been tough, but here she is Christmas tree shopping :-) She even had her pearls on too! The paper is from SEI, most of it was just from my holiday scraps. Inque Boutique made the stamp, still miss them, love the rubber cling stamps, they are awesome! The lights are from Jolee's, I have to admit they have really changed since I first started scrapbooking and I love it. Of course the letters are from American Crafts, the green ones are HERE. Ohh I almost forgot about the border punch, its from Martha Stewart, its one thats half punch and half emboss, I sanded the edges so you can see the flakes on the punch more.

Cake and Candles

Have I said that I absolutely love love love it over at My Sketch World! They had a OHSC, I always love a good challenge but I am such a slow poke when it comes to making cards. I am a big fan of cardstock and with cards I always go to two items: Cardstock and Stamps. So I didn't make the official cut with completely all the cards, hehe. There were some awesome sketches and everyone rocked it!

The cardstock is a mix of Bazzill and Prism, I am trying to finish up using the big scrap collection we have here. The circle backround stamp is from Stampin' Up (love them). The cake and candle stamps are Hero Arts. My favorite punch the scallop with the holes :) is from Fiskars. I hand drew the pink felt swirl and cut it out! I've been keeping this little stack of felt scraps next to me so I can use them on my projects, its a great way to incorporate stuff you normally wouldn't on your projects!

October Sketch

Holy cow the time always seems to fly by even faster towards the end of the year. Well with a new month upon us its time for a new sketch at My Sketch World! You can check out the October Sketch and all the great pages the design team has come up with. Below is my take on the sketch (:

I created a criss cross weave pattern with the paper and then placed it on the page at an angle. I also flipped the sketch and instead of 1 large picture I used 2 smaller pictures :) The journaling is behind the title which is on a envelope! The paper, tags and border is from Crate Paper, this collection is my favorite, I just love the color tones in it. Of course the title is from American Crafts, I'm a thicker addict!

LACE, LETTERS AND LOVE!!!

Here is my example:

I used LACE cardstock, chipoard LETTERS and this page is about my goddaughters birth so its filled with LOVE!

These are some close up's :-)

Cardstock is of course my favorite Prism! The lace cardstock is from Ki Memories, I love love this stuff it just rocks!!! The flower ribbon is from American Crafts, I love the white because if you want to you can dye it to match whatever project your working on. Chipboard letters are from Maya Road and sprayed with Glimmer Mist. The banner paper is from Basic Grey and stamps Hero Arts, the best banner set you can buy! Making Memories makes the small abc stickers, they are my go to letters (: The butterfly transparency is from My Minds Eye. Another favorite of mine is the flat scallop cards from Paper Source, whenever I'm near one I always have to go in and grab at least one stack of these :-)

One Hour Sketch Challenge!

Tonight at My Sketch World, my friend Ginni, was hosting the One Hour Sketch Challege (OHSC)! Whoa an hour to create a layout, it may sound like a challenge, but it really was a lot of fun. You do get some hints before the night of the OHSC to help you prepare, but I didn't have much ready hehe :) I really liked how my page came out and my mom even played too! The next OHSC is Oct 15, hope you can join in (:

I was so excited to be able to use some Bella Blvd. The paper, cut outs and word cut out is from them. The banner is from a marvy tree punch that is supposed to be a tree :) The circle I cut out with the new giant Creative Memories circle cutter, I love there cutters and this big circle was a great investment, no more plate tracing for me. The transparency and foam letters are from Creative Imaginations and of course the cardstock is Prism!

September begins ....

Whoa, I can't believe September is here already! Things are in full swing here: school, work and my start as a Layout Designer with My Sketch World. I am so excited to be a part of this sweet sketch site. You can check out the September Sketch ! Below is my take on the sketch, I flipped it to the side :)

The shape paper is from Bazzill and the cardstock is from Prism ( I really miss them!). I love American Crafts and there thickers, I used them for the title. The paint splats are from Sizzix, its one of the original dies (yes I have alot of stuff), I cut chipboard and cardstock with it to give the shapes some more dimension. I traced and cut out the journal shape from another journal card :). This layout is when I painted the "potty", it was pink all over but I thought it needed a change so I painted the walls brown, so the potty would have a color combo of pink and brown (my fav!).

Some people have asked me where do I get the color combo's for the layouts, well I have this handy dandy book! Its the best ever!!!! Its called the Color Scheme Bible. It has all these colors you can just flip through it and tada! First I look at the colors in the picture and see what I think will look best with it, flip through the color bible to find the colors! :) Its super easy and so helpful. Here is a picture of the book below! I orginialy purchased it from Barnes and Noble, but I'm sure you can find it at any bookstore.

Layout Time ...

It was a special someone's first Thanksgiving and I didn't take a lot of photo, ehhh! The layout did take a little while to actually make, because I wanted it to be perfect! I love working my title's into the layout, :Take time to watch the leaves turn". The cardstock is my favorite, Prism. The leaves are cut from Doodlebug fuzzy paper, I have all the colors and the stuff is super sweet and fuzzy :-) The leaves punch is from Ek Success. Some other fun things on the page are from Maya Road, Rusty Pickle, Junkitz, Making Memories and the mist from Tattered Angels.

Here I am on my 25th birthday :-) I went to mac grill, one of my favorite restaurants!!! Yummy, just typing this makes me want to go, I haven't been in forever! I got the sketch for this layout from My Sketch World, you can see the sketch HERE. Pink is my favorite color so I wanted to bring it all out in the layout (: Paper/ribbon is from Creative Imaginations, loving the Maya Road mini cupcakes, of course sprayed with Tattered Angels , gotta throw some Ki Memories with the lace cardstock and ink by Ranger/Tim Holtz, always a go to with Vintage Photo.

The pages above is another great sketch from My Sketch World. I did a combo thing and took some layouts and made them work on a 2 page spread, you can see them HERE and HERE (: I've had this build a bear paper what seems like forever and was so excited that I got the chance to use it, so I wanted to keep the layout simple so you can see the paper :D. The paper is from Creative Imaginations, Fiskars border punch, Scenic Route CB Stars and other goodies from Ek Success and Michaels.

omg omg omg! I can't believe it, I got chosen to be a layout design team member over at My Sketch World. I am so excited and so honored to have been chosen, I can't wait to play (ie scrappy) and meet everyone. I hope all of you will come check MSW out! They really do have some super sweet sketches. I couldn't sleep, well I got lost in my scrapbook room :-) So I made these cards. I found a new fun place that has some great sketches, you should check them out: My Sketch World

I love Kraft paper, its so versatile! I made the hearts out of ribbon, I hand cut the shape out. To get the ribbon to stick better to your shape, run it through the Xryon Sticker Maker. The transparency is from Hambly Studio, my favorite is this mini grid. You can find the sketch for this card HERE :)

Another Kraft card :) I was excited I got to use my felt, I have tons. I used the Fiskars Pinking Shears, these are great for everything in your art room. Check out the card sketch HERE.

Hot Wheels

I've had these pictures, well forever! When I was younger I took lots of pictures of cars, there was all sorts of random pictures, I even had car logo epoxy stickers all ready to go for the mini album. I was able to get to them recently, yay! Then I found the perfect mini album, a car shaped chipboard album, I was so excited and ready to go. I used K & Company paper and lots of random :) embellishments from Junkitz to Making Memories. The car die cut is from Quickutz which I cut with the Doodlebug fuzzy paper, my favorite! My other favorite is the thickers from American Crafts, the new fabric ones are awesome. Hope you enjoy :)

Future Library

I absolutely love books, I am either at Barnes and Nobles or the library! Well the library is nice enough to let me borrow the books and take them home to read. I am slowly building my book collection, so with the books I borrow, I made this handy dandy mini album to write down the book titles and know what I need to get for my future library.

I got the mini album from Target. The paper is one of my fav companies, Pebbles Inc. I got a collection pack and used a lot of it for this mini album, thankfully in the pack comes die cuts and stickers. I glued the paper on the pages first then use Fiskars decorative edge scissors to cut them to create a layers :) The circle scallops are from Paper Source, that store rocks, I always stock up on those fun card flat shapes :-)

Friends Word Book

I made this scrapbook for a friends birthday present. I am so happy I was able to use this word book, she loves purple and when I was it was like ahhhh ohhhh!!!!! I created this book in about an hour, maybe a little longer, hehe. I bought the word book at a scrapbook expo :) There is lots of goodies in the word book: junkitz, slice, quickutz, ki memories, doodlebug design and creative imaginations. So as you can see its been a while since I've been able to post, I have still been scrapping some. I will be updating a lot, as I am on summer break now. I think I've finally adjusted to school, work and other activities :-)

Here is a quick peeky at the cards I've been working on. Creative Escape is working with Stephen to help collect 180,000 cards to give out to the troops! I have always been a big supporter for supporting the troops, even before I decided to become an Army Doctor. So when I get in a rut, I have this jar in my scrapbook room that has lots of little ideas on strips of paper. Yesterday I was in a rut so I got the jar and pulled out a couple of ideas for me to play with on my page.

Here are the ideas I got: Corner Rounder (I did some of the paper and the entire page), Tear Paper (this was fun an oldie but goodie technique), Chalk (I had to do some digging for that), Patterened Paper (easy enough I have tons of that) and Brads (I used ribbon slotted brads).

Patterened Paper: October Afternoon. Ribbon & Cb Shape: Unknown. Brads: Bazzill. Mist: Tattered Angels. Journaling Spot: Heidi Swapp. Chalk, Pen, ABC, Corner Rounder: Ek Success.

Rainbow Buttons :-)

This layout took a couple of times to finish :-) I had these pictures that I snapped from my camera phone, I always seem to see the best rainbows when I don't have my baby (canon) with me. I wasn't able to find any paper that worked with this, I wanted something with rainbow colors but not too over powering. I decided to go with the Glimmer Mist and spray away. Next I drew a rainbow and finished up. It was still missing something so I put it too the side. Yesterday I got the idea for the colored buttons! I really like how it came out, took me a little bitt to glue them all on. Enjoy Kat < 3

I wanted to get into my art room but was in a little bit of a rut, I had these half made pages from a class at CHA by Imaginisce. The pages have been in my room for a quite some time, but they were perfect for these non-girly photos :-) and to get me in a rolling start in my art room.

My day is official turned into awsome!!!!!!!!!!!

I absolutely adore Jennifer Mcguire's work, she just rocks. Her new book 101+ Creative Way to Use Your Supplies is coming out and of course I want it. I have her first book and have made my own book with all her articles from CK magazine.

So on Jennifer's Blog she was doing a giveaway of 5 copies, of course I entered and guess what?! I won!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can't wait to get my hands on this book and play!!! Thanks so much Jennifer :-) for totally making my day.

Dog Hero

A while back one of my dogs got stuck in the fence literally and the local fire department came and rescued him and took him to the vet in the ambulance. This is the scrapbook I made for them to show our appreciation :-) The dog album was hand cut out of chipboard, the die cut shapes & abc are from quickutz, the cardstock is from bazzill and the rest of the products are from junkitz.

Still getting used to blogger :-) Hope this post all right. Going to work on some more blog transferring. Everyone have a great day :D

Going Pink ...

My background is from "The cutest blog on the block", super great site!!! I used "Pink Cure" Template.

The header I just made myself using this "ribbon image" and repeating it a bunch of times :-)

You go pink lots of place ... your blog, twitter, facebook, website and even your hair!

Its called "Pink Hair for Hope"... just call your local salon and ask if they are participating in it. They are pink hair extension $10 each, they are easily put in and taken out at the salon, your in and out in about 15 minutes top! I got two extension, its lots of fun and a great way to raise awareness!

I made this layout way in the middle of the night during a late night scrappin adventure with my friend. This was for the 2008 election :-) It was again inspired by the challenge jar :D Unfortunately I must have put the slips back in the jar and I have no idea what they were lol I do remember one was use a sketch which is exactly what I did. It was altered a little because I only had 1 photo for this layout. :0)

The cardstock is from prism (yay prism). The patterened papers are from rusty pickle, I don't know why I don't have more of this collections its awsome and the only 2 sheets I had :-P. Bling is unknown. The stamps are from gel-a-tins, lovin the stars, I had to lighten the layout so you can see the images stamped on the dark blue cardstock. I used Tim Holtz vintage photo distress ink, the best one out there in my opinion.

This layout took a little bitt to do and had a rough start. So I grabbed the challenge jar and picked 3 things: die cuts, ink & highlight words in journaling. Below is the result :-)

The cardstock is shimmery from Prism, they made the best cardstock! The raindrops I embossed on the layout. Pink Paislee made the sticker letters, love the font! The cloud stamps are from Love Elsie/Ki Memories. The ink is from Tsukineko its Versafine in black, its the best out there! The die cut small tag is cut with the cricut. I am not sure who makes the beads, wire & the large tags. To highlight the words in the journaling I used chalk.

I made this for my cousin, who is a mary kay consultant, so she can use it for raffles or other goodies at her parties :-) Hope she likes it, it's in transit now boucing from person to person till it gets to her, I love my family!

The bucket is clear which is totally cool and is from stampendous. The paper is from doodlebug loving the black and white. The fuzzy paper, I believe they call it flocked, but fuzzy is such a cute word! is from doodlebug and I cut it with the cricut. The flower is from petaloo. The girly dies are quickutz. Here is the purse, shoes, gift bag, lipstick/compact and credit card.

I was super excited to play with the slice, I got to "borrow" one (thanks mom). This bad boy is great, quick and easy to use. I love the design cards. I used animal crackers, big kids, basic 1 and wedding, hopefully I got them all hehe. So the other day I was playing in the art room and trying to figure out what to do with some photos I had. Well on my desk is a little friend that is there to help me out when I am having a duh moment. His name: Challenge Jar!There are strips of paper in there with different ideas. Cupcake Flower Pot Gift

I made this for my friends daughter's birthday, she just turned 10. I decorated the pot, made cupcakes and put the frosting on to look like a flower. There is a styrofoam ball, painted brown, thats hold the cupcakes and the decorations in, with skewer sticks. I cut green cs with the martha stewart fringe scissors to look like grass. The decorations are all cut from the circut using doodlebug and prism cs. Her favorite colors were teal and purple so I went with that color theme. The cupcakes are edible :-) After she can use the pot for anything she like. This was my first time making something like this and decorating the cupcakes :D

Tomorrow isn't promised

So while we have it, it's best we love it, care for it, fix it when it's broken and heal it when it's sick. This is true for marriage....And old cars... And children with bad report cards, and dogs with bad hips, and aging parents and grandparents. We keep them because they are worth it, because we are worth it.

Some things we keep -- like a best friend who moved away or a sister-in-law after divorce. There are just some things that make us happy, no matter what. Life is important, like people we know who are special. And so, we keep them close!

I received this from someone who thought I was a "keeper"! Then I sent it to the people I think of in the same way... Now it's your turn to send this to all those people who are "keepers" in your life, including the person who sent it, if you feel that way. Suppose one morning you never wake up, do all your friends know you love them?

I was thinking...I could die today, tomorrow or next week, and I wondered if I had any wounds needing to be healed, friendships that needed rekindling or three words needing to be said.

Let every one of your friends know you love them, even if you think they don't love you back. You would be amazed at what those three little words and a smile can do. And just in case I'm gone tomorrow.-I LOVE YA!!!

I know its been a while since I've been on. Things have been really rough and complicated. I've never been to so many funerals in my life then I've recently had to go to. I still have physical therapy for my arm, the pain comes and goes but I'm moving forward the best I can. I haven't been in my arty room in a while, just too much going on and its hard to find my mojo. Plus a new school semster started and I have tons of school work. Happy Friday everyone!! Only 1 more day left till NSD!!! I haven't had much time to scrap this week, between school, finals, physical therapy, doctors and visiting other important people :-) I got a new brace for my hand and more physical therapy scheduled too, so its been a rough week on my poor little hand. Hopefully the hand will be in less pain tomorrow so I can play for NSD. Two Peas in a Bucket is having some great challenges, which I definitly wanna give a shot at. Don't forget to check out Pink Paislee and Bo Bunny for some blog hopping!

I love love love Grey's Anatomy! I don't know why I don't have this as a dvd set yet. My mother calls the show "Basic Grey" ... LOL ROFL, only a true scrapper can understand that. So the show is on every weekday from 6pm-9pm on Lifetime. The best episode is in two parts "Its the end of the world" and "as we know it". I was all over the place with omg, whoa, no way and tears! If you haven't seen it I would highly suggest it.

OMG the cleaning that has been taking place is insane and the packing, I'm so not looking forward to that by any means.

BACKUP YOUR PICTURES!!!!!!!!!!! I've unfortunately had to lose a lot of pictures to remember to do this!!! So I love love love my external hard drive and now they come in pretty colors too LOL. Its that time of year again! Hopefully all of you have completed and turned in your taxes already, mine were done a while ago. So with tax day comes free goodies and some deals, one of my favorites is: Boston Market Tax Day Coupon. Of course I took part in that coupon today with my mom :). I love there cornbread!!!!!!!

I've been working in the scrapbook room on orgainizing and keep track of my die's. Some scrappers collect paper, ribbon, stamps but for me its die cutting dies, so I definitly need a way to keep track of them. I've been working on this project for a while, just now have the time to finish it up.

Ok I'm officially addicted to watching Grey's Anatomy again! Its on Lifetime during the week at 6pm so no matter where I am in the house it gets turned on, thank goodness I have a tv in my art room. Today they played the episode called "the ties that bind" and this is my favorite part. Alex couldn't have said it any better than if I said it myself LOL.

Also put some goodies in the scrapbook garage sale photo album that is under my blog header, I emailed everyone back so far. I die cut the circle out of a thick plastic material with the sizzix machine. then i used stazon timber brown to do the backround which is a wood pattern. I didn't want to do too much to the banner so you could still see the butterflies. :-)

I used the martha stewart fringe scissors to make it look like grass, these are so much fun to make and super easy too!!!

I had lots of extra eggs this time around so I had fun placing them in different spots all around the house.

Well we haven't had much rainy days here its been pretty sunny but I made a layout about one horrible rainy couple of days we had back in 2008! The park where I go running at has a lake in the middle and it rained so much you could barely read the warning sign about not going in the lake hehe. American Crafts rain drop paper worked perfectly for this layout. :-) enjoy. I was filled with creativity to do this layout from the Inspired Blueprints Blog! I (heart) Grey's Anatomy

So its been a while since I've seen this show and being sick and stuck at home trying to get better, I had some time today to watch it. Of course I have to watch the saddest episode ever!!!! I was crying like a baby. I tried to put the part in from you tube, the episode is called "crash into me". There was an accident with two ambulance at the hospital and one of the paramedics is dying and they call his wife who happens to work at the hospital and she comes out to say good bye. OMG its heart breaking. I guess I took it to heart working in the public safety world and I also remember crying one night when someone I knew went back on the road and I was so worried about them and just wanted them to come home safely. The episode that follows and finishes that story is called "lay your hands on me". Both sad episodes so make sure you have tissue's handy!

Dear Florida Animal Advocates,

We all know that pet overpopulation causes needless animal pain and suffering. Homeless animals are forced to live in fear and scrounge for food and water, do not receive medical care, and almost always lead short, difficult lives. Florida’s shelters are inundated with too many animals to adopt out, and euthanasia rates are higher than any of us can tolerate. Part of the solution to this problem is to increase spay and neuter efforts statewide.

Now pending in the Florida General Assembly, Senate Bill 2372 and House Bill 1221 would allow counties to raise the surcharge (from $5 to $15) they impose on those who violate local animal control ordinances. This additional money will be used by counties to finance their spay/neuter efforts.

By reducing the number of accidental litters born in Florida, we will prevent animal suffering as well as lessen the financial burden on the state’s public and private animal shelters. The best part is that this is not a tax, so it will not take money out of your pockets or the state’s budget!

What You Can Do
Please urge your elected officials to support SB 2372 and HB 1221 and move them quickly through the legislative process. Visit the ASPCA Advocacy Center today to email your state senator and representative.

The Goats + A Card

There is so much to tell about the goats that lived next door. They were super crazy and would always try to eat the grass on our side of the house and would always get stuck! So I made this page about them and the many times they got stuck.

Something I think all scrapbookers should try.... when you are finished with your layout keep all your goodies out and make a quick card with your scraps! Before you know it your card collection will add up and you'll never be on the spot to make a card for someone. Let me know how that works out for you.

Here is a layout from when I went to my friends school (she's a teacher) and helped her set up and decorate her classroom! We had so much fun and I loved playing teacher! I love these products from Junkitz and definitly miss them. I made the top part out of the house from strips of paper that I cut with scallop scissors and layered them. Enjoy! - K<3

Today was a rough day and I don't wish what I'm going through on my worst enemy. But I'm just trying to get through it and move forward. I did get some good news today, actually from my mom, that I had won the "Green with Envy Giveaway" from making memories!!!!!!!!!! How cool is that. I love making memories there stuff all rocks and I can never get enough. Click the logo below to check out there blog.

Baby Time

Well not for me, but a good friend of mine is expecting so I made her a pregancy journal so she can document her baby jouney moments, I also used the scraps to make her a card. I am also in love with the maya mist. plus someone too, but thats a whole nother story.....its been a very rough weekend just trying to keep moving forward, the art room time still takes a while since I can only use 1 hand :P

Hi everyone sorry ive been MIA, but I have no internet at the house and I've been trying to get it fixed for a while, keep your fingers crossed. Right now im writting you from GA. I am here for the day to visit my mom. We are having lots of fun just scrapbook store shopping! My new favorite store is.....

this place is awsome. I got the new tim holtz little stapler and the chunky glitter mini set from doodlebug. We also made a pit stop at michaels....the slice stuff was on sale and we couldn't miss that. Today we are off to archivers (whoohoo) and a possible discount outlet scrapbook store. So my plan is to come back with no money lol. Hope everyone is having a great weekend and staying warm. Hopefully I'll be back soon :-) -Kathy

Countdown to Xmas

I had this up last year for the 2009 countdown to the holidays! The paper is basic grey, tree I believe is from kaiser crafts & the chipboard letters/# are from american crafts. I am not sure if you can tell but I put some fun flock on the side of the tree too look like snow, thats from stampendous. I had lots of fun changing the numbers and having an official countdown last holiday season. enjoy -kathy
